NJAC Athletes of the Week

Jenn Rawls (fr. Runnemede, NJ/Highland Reg.) earns NJAC Women’s Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season after traveling to Northampton, MA to compete at the ECAC Championship hosted by Smith College. She placed first in a field of 18 competitors in the 5,000 meters with a school-record and NCAA automatic qualifying time of 17:09.15. She also placed second in a field of 18 competitors in the one mile run with school-record and NCAA automatic qualifying time of 4:56.79. She also competed as a member of the Profs’ 4x800 meter relay which placed second in a field of 16 teams with a school-record time of 9:31.75. The performances by Rawls helped Rowan place sixth in the 43-team ECAC Championship.
