NJAC Players of the Week

Defender Kaitlyn Molzon (sr. Howell, NJ/Saint Rose) earns the first NJAC Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week selection after helping the Profs secure a season-opening 12-10 non-conference road win at Goucher. She collected four ground balls while causing two turnovers in a contest in which the Profs were 18-of-19 in clear attempts while holding Goucher to just three first half goals. Molzon is a key cog in a Rowan team defense which currently leads the NJAC in caused turnovers (10.0 per game).

Attack Ellen Brigham (fr. Oakton, VA/Oakton) earns the first NJAC Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week selection after helping the Profs post a season-opening 12-10 non-conference road victory at Goucher. In the first collegiate game of her career, she netted the Profs’ first goal of the season in the 28th minute of the contest. Brigham currently ranks tied for sixth in the NJAC in shots per game (4.00).
