Hayes Claims Fourth NJAC Field Athlete of the Week Honor

Kyle Hayes (so. Pt. Pleasant, NJ/Pt. Pleasant Boro) earns NJAC Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week honors for the fourth time this season and the second consecutive week after traveling to Middletown, CT to compete a the Collegiate Track & Field Conference Championship contested at Wesleyan University. He placed first in a field of 22 competitors in the long jump with a NCAA provisional leap of 7.08 meters. He also competed as a member of the Profs’ 4x200 meter relay which placed second in a field of 14 teams with an ECAC qualifying time of 1:32.38. Hayes also posted an eighth place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 12.83 meters. His performances helped propel the Profs to a sixth place team finish in the 17-team championship.
