Babice Collects Second NJAC Offensive Player of the Week Honor

Forward Jess Babice (jr. Groveville, NJ/Steinert) earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after recording seven points in a pair of NJAC regular season victories for the Profs. She opened the week by registering a goal and an assist for three points during Rowan’s 3-0 NJAC road win at Rutgers-Newark. Three days later, she wrapped up her regular season by producing a pair of goals during the Profs’ 9-1 NJAC victory over Rutgers-Camden. The NJAC regular season champion and top-seeded Profs will open play in the 2009 NJAC Championship Tournament by hosting fourth-seeded Richard Stockton in the semifinals. Babice currently ranks second in the NJAC in points per game (2.87).
