WEST DEPTFORD, NJ – The Rowan University volleyball team won 3-0 over conference opponent Rutgers-Camden on Tuesday night. The match was played at the RiverWinds Community Center.

The Profs won with set scores of 25-17, 25-13 and 29-27. Rowan has an overall record of 10-11 and a 2-3 mark in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Rutgers-Camden drops to 7-12 on the season and 0-5 in the conference.

Rowan was led by outside hitter Alexis Louie (sr. Sewell, NJ / Washington Twp.) with 10 kills and 12 digs. Setter Chrissy McKay (jr. Paramus, NJ/Paramus) totaled 22 assists, 11 digs and one service ace. Outside hitter Karen Ramirez (jr. Bogota, NJ/Bogota) contributed with five kills, six digs and three aces. Middle blocker Chelsea Bowman (jr. Penns Grove, NJ/Salem County Christian Academy) added six kills and one block.

Rowan is home on Thursday, October 16 against New Jersey City University at 7 p.m.
